Educating the Citizens of Tomorrow

Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water has a dedicated education team that works closely with schools and teachers to equip pupils to become global citizens. We have four Education Discovery Centres and every year thousands of pupils come to visit. During these visits the team teaches the next generation about sustainability and its impact on the world including their own local community.

School Visits

Our award-winning education team regularly visits schools and colleges to host assemblies and workshops about sustainability.

Our interactive workshops are led by seconded teachers, who have developed engaging lessons to provide children and young people with an understanding of renewable energy, food waste, community and the importance of looking after our environment.
